Elsys EMS2-DESK Mini Desk Occupancy Sensor with Temp/RH/Desk stands as one of the most precise sensors for occupancy detection available

It utilizes an infrared temperature sensor directed towards the human torso to detect body heat, ensuring accurate readings that distinguish genuine occupancy from inanimate objects or passing individuals. All this functionality is packed within a discreet, small enclosure comparable in size to an AA battery.

Elsys EMS2-DESK Mini Desk Occupancy Sensor with Temp/RH/Desk stands as one of the most precise sensors for occupancy detection available. It utilizes an infrared temperature sensor directed towards the human torso to detect body heat, ensuring accurate readings that distinguish genuine occupancy from inanimate objects or passing individuals. All this functionality is packed within a discreet, small enclosure comparable in size to an AA battery.

ELSYS EMS2-DESK REQUIRES one ER14505 Lithium Battery (not included).

These sensors offer easy setup with multiple mounting options and replaceable batteries, making installation hassle-free without the need for wiring. They are powered by 3.6V AA lithium batteries, providing an estimated lifespan of up to 10 years, depending on factors like sampling frequency, transmission intervals, data rates, power consumption, and environmental conditions. All sensors are built using Semtech’s LoRaWAN stack, ensuring adherence to and certification with the most current LoRaWAN standards.
