This year we were fortunate enough to be platinum sponsors at the Tridium Niagara Forum 2017. The event took place at The Park Plaza in London and had a turnout of over 600 people! We would like to thank everyone that came to visit our stand and have a chat, it was great to connect with some new faces and catch up with our existing clients and partners. An overall very successful forum, with insights into the developments of the industry. We wanted to share a few of our highlights for those that attended and those who could not make it.
From the Forum in 2015, to the Energy Event in 2016, we pride ourselves in delivering impressive stand designs at exhibitions. This year our theme highlighted the possibilities of the connected building. Our aim was to create a dynamic stand that not only encouraged interaction, but also provided insight into the developments of the connected building
Our stand featured various famous landmarks from around the world, from Dubai to London! These were connected to an interactive interface which provided real time data of things such as weather, air quality and grid information. But it didn’t stop there! The user then had the opportunity to control the stand, whether it be selecting which floor to send a lift to, to turning on lights, sounding fire alarms, turning on fans and more. The goal of this was to project the potential of connected building technology, with focus on the ability to control a wide range of buildings worldwide and their various automation components via a single user interface. Or as otherwise referred to as a SPOG (single pane of glass) Our technology aims to eliminate proprietary systems, by providing an open source platform that can communicate with a wide range of systems. This data is then transferred to a remote UI which then allows the building and end user to make intelligent decisions based on data retrieved. Within our stand the transfer of data was illustrated via various light streams that pulsed to and from the stand.
We also invested time into the creation of three animations. One was an introduction into One Sightsolutions. It outlined our areas of expertise, the benefits of our specialities, past and present achievements, and future ambitions. The others featured insights into our recent developments such as air quality and connected building technology. Full videos can be located on our YouTube here.
Graham Turner made his debut in both the opening ceremony and his own connected building presentation. We also ran a variety of Mini Masterclasses, had Product Boards to illustrate our current product range, Live streams to our office in Yateley which could be remotely controlled via Amazon Echo, and innovative front end designs. We wanted to demonstrate not only what we are capable of as a company, but what you can also be involved in with us.
